Нов стил, нова практика и техника за изобразяване - one out of one

A new style, a new practice and technique for rendering

It all started with my affinity for the underground secrets of our planet

I love caves and their mystique. Whenever I had the opportunity to travel, I always chose a destination with an interesting cave. In every meditation, "day dreaming" or peaceful state of my mind I always "smelled" of soil just moistened by a warm summer rain. Most people I know are fascinated by the Cosmos, the stars, the mysteries of the endless sky, but somehow it seemed distant to me. I always preferred the themes of the Earth, here under our feet. I collect all kinds of minerals and creations that she gives birth to. Whenever I get hold of a shiny mineral, I ask myself "how much older is it than me?", because in reality the crystallization process requires an unimaginably long time and special natural conditions. When I'm on the road or for a walk, what I always look at are the rocks beside me. I live in the mountains and almost 90% of the time I come across a location with exposed rock (required for road construction). All layers and processes are visible. If I didn't have such an interest, I would say to myself "what so...just a rock.", but every time I look into its details, I discover new and new forms, nuances, textures, even compositions.

There is no more appropriate inspiration than nature itself or life events

I adore her! Nature! The silence when I walk. Sometimes the adrenaline from the deserted forest and every foreign noise. I especially like the walk when it is about to rain, it is raining or it has already rained. Not to mention the fog. When it's cloudy in the mountains, somehow everything goes dark, and at that moment the colors are the most real... And if the fog falls, the whole mountain "puts on" the mystical cloak. Trees nestle in the perspective of the water curtain, some in the foreground standing out like "celebrities" over others. They are given a chance to be more widely noticed. Several times I have encountered the rare natural condition of having fog, but also seeing the sunset. It's amazing! The last rays of the sun are clearly highlighted by the water drops, as if the divine artist deliberately draws their stripes.

Everything smells of freshness and ozone. Fragrance molecules in a humid atmosphere are far more conductive to the senses. Yes, it's cold, the shoes are wet, not to mention the socks, but that's easily ignored given the picturesque setting. It's worth the sacrifice, especially after I get home and make myself some hot tea.

This is how I gather my inspiration for the paintings, even the sculptures. Everything is outside, around us, in the wild and vast nature. She will always be my most mysterious friend, because every time, although on the same route, I find new and new figures of inspiration, depending on my mood, recent events and degree of peace in my mind. She is charming.

Techniques and painting

Based on what I learned in painting, I try to implement a technique to achieve a color typically found in nature. There is something more special than buying the basic crayons in three tubes and mixing the finished color. It is to walk, to look carefully at the natural shades and to collect some of them in order to get as close as possible to what is provided to us. Yes, it's surprising why I would do that to myself, but alas, it's not just about putting anything on the canvas, it's the very process I've gone through to express what lives inside me, namely - nature. The more natural the creature my hands give birth to, the closer I feel to Mother Earth. Organic cotton paper, stone powder, dried fruits, plants, charcoal, earth humus, etc.

I appreciate more and more what is in our midst

Even if there are all kinds of paints (with additives, without additives, with effects), I still prefer to challenge myself by looking for the right color outside. This is how I find new and interesting places, as well as what I need. Every time I thank the Earth for this gift and treat the raw material with respect. The possibilities are endless, and so are the colors. Even that would be a reason to go to a place outside my country to collect raw material from there as well. For example, the delicate white color of marble in Greece or bright blue lapis lazuli from Morocco...
