"The Art of Natural Pigments: How to Create Natural-Looking Paintings with Stone Dust?"

Every artist looks for ways to express their individuality and inspiration through their work. For me, this individuality is expressed through the creation of hand pigments for my paintings. This process is not only satisfying, but I also achieve a natural and original look to my works that cannot be achieved with standard pigments. In this article I will tell you exactly how I create my hand pigments using stones and minerals to give my paintings a unique character. Gathering the Raw Material

The process of creating hand pigments begins with the collection of the raw material. For this purpose, I often use different types of stones and minerals. They can be found in nature or purchased from specialty stores. For my paintings, I prefer stones with a more natural color such as brown, yellow or orange to create a variety of shades. Most often, as soon as I see a pleasant color in the soil, I collect it and tie it into my next painting. The Grinding Process

After collecting the necessary materials, I proceed to the grinding of the stones. This process requires precision and patience. I use a mortar and pestle to grind the stones into a fine powder. This powder becomes finer and finer with each subsequent sifting and re-grinding. Mixing and Judging

Once I have a powder from the stones, the next step is to mix them with a binder. I usually use resins or medium acrylic, which not only stabilize the pigments, but also give them the right consistency to apply to the canvas. I carefully judge the mixture to achieve the desired texture and color, paying extra attention to the balance between the different pigments. Creative process

Now that I have my hand pigments ready I can start creating my paintings. This is a moment where I put my inspiration and creativity. Using the hand created pigments, I can create textures and colors on the canvas that I cannot achieve with regular paints. Hand-crafted pigments give my paintings a unique and authentic look that captures the viewers' attention. Final Result

Every artist is looking for ways to create something unique and unforgettable with their works. For me, creating hand pigments (by grinding stones) is a way to achieve this goal. This process not only allows me to create natural-looking paintings, but also connects me to nature and gives me the opportunity to express my respect for its beauty.

As with any creative process, it's important to try and experiment. Handcrafted pigments provide artists with the ability to create unique and personal works that touch the hearts of viewers. Attention to detail, patience and inspiration are the keys to success in the art of hand pigment creation.

For me, this process is not only a way to express myself as an artist, but also a way to combine nature and art to create something unique and inspiring.
