The sculpture represents the "birth/creation" of man from clay, as many beliefs say. The hand is made of wax clay to give impressions of fragility and re-modification. It is attached to a raw piece of green marble. Stored in a glass jar under special conditions for longevity, similar to growing Bonzai.
